dit is nog maar een preview maar voor de mensen onder ons die graag strategies spelen, is dit wel een game om naar uit te kijken.
als ik zo de lovende preview lees ziet het er echt een hele vernieuwing uit van het space-strategy genre
The first thing you notice about Sword of the Stars is the 3D interface. Most space strategy games settle for a traditional 2D map of the galaxy, but Sword of the Stars goes full 3D, letting you zoom in and out and rotate the galactic map at will.
ook tech tree is 3D
When two hostile fleets meet, combat naturally occurs. At this point, Sword of the Stars departs the turn-based strategic layer and drops you down into a real-time 3D battle, much like Homeworld.
doet me ook denken aan de Total War spellen waar de map turn based is en de battles (als je wilt) volledig real time.
